I spoke with the Zondervan marketing folks last week. They said they’ve got some ideas about giving away fun stuff via facebook, via the Stuff Christians Like facebook group and via twitter when the book comes out in 2010. I’ll also be using those tools to announce events and meetups.
So click here to friend me on facebook.
Click here to join the facebook group.
Click here to follow me on Twitter.
And if that’s weird to have me, a stranger, as your friend, don’t sweat it. Folks who don’t have facebook or twitter will get hooked up too when the Stuff Christians Like book comes out.
What? No serious Wednesday devotional post =( I must confess Jon, I expected more from you. Could it be that you were busy trimming your unibrow or drop kicking old ladies?
ReplyDeleteNever fear, the normal Wednesday post has appeared.
ReplyDeleteyour number of "friends" and "tweeps" just wne through the roof. lol.
ReplyDeleteNot worried about having a total stranger as friend on facebook. About half of my facebook friends are total strangers. Why? I must be really hot.
ReplyDeletePlease dont make me join Facebook. I so dont want to. Im planning to be the only person in the world to NOT be a member. Dont make me give up my only shot at uniqueness. Im begging you.
ReplyDeleteWell Jon, after reading this post, I'm really hoping you "friended" me on Facebook because of the fact that I did know you from 5th grade until you were.. um.. I am not sure how old but at least college age rather than as a massive facebook friending :) But either way, its ok. I'll forgive ya. ;)
