3 surprising things I've learned about sex.

That’s the title of a guest post I wrote for Matthew Paul Turner’s blog, Jesus Needs New PR. He’s doing something called “Sex Week,” a week long look at how Christians talk/think/feel/mess up/misunderstand/celebrate that thing called sex.

Click here if you want to check out what I wrote.

  1. Since no one's commented on your Sex Week appearance, I'll bite.

I liked your post, especially the part about sex getting better as the marriage gets better. It's good for us now, at 4 years, so I can't imagine it improving. Woohoo! Something to look forward to!

And although the picture was NSFW, I guess the whole article isn't either. I'll just assume the couple in the picture is a happily married couple.

  2. Great post. Thanks. Only one comment/complaint: after nearly 32 years of marriage I have discovered that I do not do the dishes for my wife; I do the dishes. It is a subtle and important distinction.

  4. Good article, Jon. I've been married 36 years this month. What you say is 4.5 times true (8 x 4.5 = 36). :)

  5. Hello...good article that one. I'm a single and nobody ever told me about point 2.

And I laughed at the back porch suggestion. Also when the first comment complained about the nipple and I went back and studied that couple reading the bible extra closely - heh.
