Rules Update - Group 1 - Vote on Bulletin Bored Entries

For the next week, post a comment, on each group, with the number or name of the Bulletin Bored entry you think is most cool, majestic, other words that mean fantastic. The polls will close on Saturday, the 28th at midnight Pacific time. Then on Monday/Tuesday, we'll have a two day throwdown where the best design from each group (so 5 finalists) battles for the top spot. The person with the most votes from readers will win the "Bag o' Awesome" which amongst other things includes a signed copy of the book "Rapture Ready," a copy of Prince's "Purple Rain" CD, an Encyclopedia Brown book, a 25th anniversary GI Joe figure and other wicked cool things. (Here's the whole list of prizes and the contest background.)

Rather than put them all on one page, severely exposing my weakness at anything approaching design and denying them the attention the entries deserve, I decided to feature a few per page. Here are the first three entries. (See Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, Group 5). A few of the entries were in files I could not upload. If I missed yours, email me a jpeg at theacuffs@yahoo.com.

    You know, I've got to vote for Heaven, because I am currently all about riding a dinosaur around Heaven. Also, I've always wanted my own talking unicorn.

    tough group!! im gonna go with flood just because it's incredibly artistic, though the flowers (Details!) and heaven (high comedy) are great choices too.

    i'll take the dinosaur, please. it's aesthetically the worst of the 3, but it's also clearly the BEST from an SCL standpoint.

    (not to knock the other 2, which are obviously well done.)

    Heaven, hands down, for humor and creativity factor.

    Whoever did "Flood", kudos to you, my friend. It reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe's writing. It was gritty and intense.

    The flowers are pretty, and the flood is like camping... intense! :D But I've got to go with #3 as well, if only because they think that Heaven will be like Narnia too....

    The other two show a lot of talent, but who can resist a "Jesus Horse" as a taxi?

    It is even more impressive considering the bulletin was submitted before the dinosaur post!

    Heaven... takes my vote.

    Poor flood. Can there be some sort of wild card please so flood has a chance? Its kinda like any team that was in the same conference as the Patriots last year... there were a few that could have beat the NY Giants.
